I haven't shared much here and figured it was about time. These are a few from an e-session that I did recent in Yosemite.

You can't do a shoot in Yosemite without including Half Dome, or the clients get angry :)

Interesting framing in #2! What time was the last shot taken?

    Really love this set...

Interesting texture in #3... is that a stream bed?

Skin tones in #2 is not my favorite..

    But 4 & 5 are pure yum.

Nicely done! Can't wait to see more from you.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Ted- That photo was taken @6:30, about an hour and a half before sunset.

Heather- Photo #3 is actually a shot of their reflection in the river. That's just how it looked in camera, I just rotated it right side up in post.

The trick is lighting it properly. You need to keep a LOT of light on the couple to overpower the reflection - otherwise it will look like there are rocks in their heads. In this specific case, I couldn't get the actual couple in the frame because they are probably about two stops brighter than their reflection. Check out a pull back shot (that obviously doesn't work) here.

love the river reflection shot! (like eveyrone else haha)

but the only thing is, and i am not sure if there ought to be, but in terms of the consistency in the processing of the photos, maybe there should be more? they all seem very different from one another. but i guess... in a way that's a good thing :P
