In a few hours, I'll be off to another overnight backpacking trip at the Mt. Baker are. I wanted to share this shot of the mountain I took several years ago from Artist's Point. I'm posting it as a kind of good luck charm for this trip. Hopefully there will be good light. :D Enjoy!

Really nice foreground on that shot, Mt. Baker is awesome.

I was there last weekend and I already want to return (this time with enough battery power). The Chain Lakes trail is one of my all time favorite trails. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Nice, and fantastic color in the sky. I'm sure that I am not the only one in this forum waiting to see what you'll bring back after this weekend. Hope you're having a great time thumb.gif

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I can't remember the last time I saw the sky this pink just before sunrise.

Thanks, Ron! I didn't do the chain lakes this time. I think it will be fantastic in the fall. I'll have to visit it then. :D

Thanks, Schmoo! I hope you weren't disappointed with the shots I returned with. The weather, as I explained in my other thread, was inclement, but still provided for some drama, I think. :D
