In a few hours, I'll be off to another overnight backpacking trip at the Mt. Baker are. I wanted to share this shot of the mountain I took several years ago from Artist's Point. I'm posting it as a kind of good luck charm for this trip. Hopefully there will be good light. Enjoy!

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

I was there last weekend and I already want to return (this time with enough battery power). The Chain Lakes trail is one of my all time favorite trails. Looking forward to what you come up with.

I forgot I had posted before my trip. Sorry for the late response.
Thanks for the kind words, James! It was cool, crisp, and beautiful morning. I can still see it in my mind's eye!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I can't remember the last time I saw the sky this pink just before sunrise.

Thanks, Ron! I didn't do the chain lakes this time. I think it will be fantastic in the fall. I'll have to visit it then.

Thanks, Schmoo! I hope you weren't disappointed with the shots I returned with. The weather, as I explained in my other thread, was inclement, but still provided for some drama, I think.
