Tokina 100 Lens Creep?

I've recently noticed that my Tokina 100 mm F 2.8 AT-X PRO D suffers from lens creep when it is not attached to the camera. It may have always done this but I didn't pay attention to it before. Fortunately, when it is attached to the cam the focus extension barrel stays in place no matter what orientation I have the camera in and either powered off or on.

So, is this really lens creep and an issue worthy of repair (it's still under warranty) or is this a normal thing on this kind of lens?

dont know if its normal in that lens.. I have a tamron 28-75 that has some zoom creep. it even has a lock for it :D it can be annoying (a bit) but it wont harm your shots IMO. hope it helps
