    What zoo? The enclosures look as if the animals are in natural (except the cage) surroundings.

    i believe the sandhill crane is a wild animal that happens to live on the zoo grounds.

    Very nice...I like the meerkat the most. I love its "perch" and expression. I don't think that is a sandhill crane though in the first image. Its head is too red and the plumage is too white. It is probably part of the zoo exhibit.

    i was wrong, the crane is a sarus crane. i am not sure if it is a wild animal that lives there or is just off exhibit it was about 500 feet from the exhibits and not enclosed in any way.
