On this windy morning I took some new shots, all taken with my canon 100mm, but without tubes.

Hi Urte, that is one sweet lens that Canon 100mm.
Your slightly off focus with a couple of these, being windy doesn't help.

What a surprise to see all those Deer, imagine the look on my face to see such a thing rolleyes1.gif aint gonna happen in my neck of the woods. :D

What were those bees up to?
Is that a Hive, or they wild bees gathering there?

Looking good, I really like the lighting your getting with these.
Keep up the good work thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

thanks, its so true regarding the wind. Its a beehive situated close to the nature center, I think they were trying to get warm and awake. Looked very funny.

Good series of shots - esp like the first 2 dragons and the deer :)
Most bug shots look better if taken more side on rather top down - especially butterflies although dorsal views can be very good for ID puposes.
