#1 is nice as well, but no where near #4.
#2 looks a little blown out.
#3 is sweet in a forelorn sort of way (having the block in her hand helps).
#5 the tone doesn't do it for me. I thought jaundice. Sorry.
#6 is cute, but the reflection of the toy in her mouth made me have to re-parse the image.
#7 Like the angle and all, just not as captivating though. Perhaps if she wasn't looking quite so high up. Not necessarily at the camera either.
Thanks for your comments adb.
She is a wiggler, wouldn't sit still, of course. I had to chase her around and all. Anywho, will try it again when she visits
Sleeping babies make great subjects. I don't think I'd have the patience to photograph babies. I dealt with my own, but then you don't have the pressure to be successful at any given time.
Love the expression in #4. I know 1 year olds well... it ain't easy! The muslin and polka dots make for a bit of competition IMHO I would have done her on white if I could. Would make her baby blues stand out more but nice set anyway!
Snady :thumb
my money well spent
Nikon D4, D3s, D3, D700, Nikkor 24-70, 70-200 2.8 vrII, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 105mm macro, sigma fisheye, SB 800's and lots of other goodies!
I actually love #5. Very classic feel. And it is the best treatment for the polka dots and background competition... it levels things out. (I like a bit of yellow.)

Thanks Sandy, you're right, and i'm well aware of the BG. No time to change with this one I have different backdrops, my white one is gone bah-buys, need a new one.
