Did a short hike to Georgiana Falls somewhere between Woodstock and Franconia. After a couple of days of rain the water was flowing wildly.

3. Interior of the Grist Mill in Littleton NH. It is a restored working mill. Pretty cool.

Beautiful images! Each shot is a gem. The lighting on the 3rd is terrific, although I wonder if you were able to get any detail from the very dark portions of the image. The waterfall shots are classy and well composed. clap.gifthumb.gif

Thanks Mahesh ... I plan to reprocess the third one. I do want to try bringing out some detail in the foreground, but I also want to bring up the exterior. Right outside the window is Littleton's iconic covered bridge. If I'm even close to successful I'll repost.

Looks much better now! What do you think? I'm not sure I'm seeing any more detail in the highlights, which I thought you were planning to recover. Did you work on that portion at all?

Thanks! When I brought out the detail in the shadows I decided I liked the more subdued exterior. I think I'm calling the BW version "done". Thanks so much for your input!

Though ... I may play with a color version.

I think you are absolutely correct. The more subdued exterior won't "steal" attention away from that awesome interior. Again, great job! clap.gifthumb.gif

Yes, the reworked waterfall does look better. The greens have more pop and and the shadow detail is much more pleasing. Super job! thumb.gif

    Thanks Mahesh!
My wife always jokes about my habit of "fidgeting with an image for hours". Sometimes it actually pays off!
