WHOA!!! Jack, that's a marvelous picture. Both you and Barney ought to be real proud of this one. Great stuff.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hey Jack,

    Good looking buddy.

I'll venture a guess: 6 years old. A little grey around the lips

Like the dog a lot. He looks a little sad or thoughtful. If you could take the highlight off his colar ring (right at the bottom), that would help me out a bunch (my eye bounced right down to the bottom initially).

    Howdy Jack,

What a fine looking Hound and Companion.

Really like the expression and portrait you've captured

We have two Chocolates, an older female and a young boy, such good companions and great Hounds, such great additions to any Family.
    Take care,

Barney looks like a wonderful dog. Gotta wonder what dogs are thinking when they have that look. I always say my dogs are wondering why I haven't given them their "cones" yet.

Great photo of your best friend thumb.gif

Howdy Randy thanks for stopping by.
Actually he was about 2 1/2 years old when this was taken in Oct 2007. He has always had a little light peach fuzz around the lips. He is a really great dog.

Hi Andrew thanks for the input. Barney is a very laid back fellow especially for a chocolate lab as many of them are extremely hyperactive. I often call him Sorrowful Sam. As for the collar, I did get rid of the highlite but then MY eye kept getting drawn to it.headscratch.gif Here's the result.

I think that's better. My eye went straight there, too but because I wanted to see how it looked. When I stopped to look again, I was looking at his head. Give Sam a scratch behind the ear for being such a good model.
