Beautiful shot with an inspired composition, Walter. This really works well in b&w! clap.gifthumb.gif

This is great; it is a very odd landscape. Any stories with this one? The black and white is really well done. I bet the color version is good. The title is perfect for the theme.

Thank you Mahesh and Eia. I didn't look at the color versoin, except for the first bit before starting the conversion. It just seemed too contrasty. It was very bright out there. I like working with the range of tones.

I think it makes a great B&W. The tonal range and textures are great!

Very well seen and captured. Good composition. That cloud formation is most unique.

    Walter-

First of all this is a great photographic location and hope I can shoot this someday. I think the black and white was a great choice as it adds to the surreal feeling.

I have to honestly say some of the images you have posted lately- I think are some of the best work you have ever posted on dgrin.

Usually your saturation is bit over the top but this image as well as the attached have been pretty spot on. Congrats to you!! thumb.gif
