I took a few pictures of Niagara Falls my our hotel room, 25 floors up. Getting high above the falls gives a perspective unlike what you get on the ground.

Here are a few of my favorites. Which one do you like best?

I hope to visit the falls some day. I live in Rhode Island. Maybe I will travel to a Bills VS Patriots game and check them out then.

Edit-The first photo is my favorite

Very nice, Kathleen! The multicolored water of the fall on the first shot is beautiful! Awesome series! thumb.gif
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

#5 in black and white is just awesome! The contrast of the huge horseshoe and the tiny tourists is stunning.

I've been up to Niagara a lot as a child but never visited as a photographer. Thanks for sharing these :D

#5 is the best of the bunch! thumb.gif

I've been to The Falls numerous times, but we have always stayed in a hotel away from the falls. Great perspective! :)

Thanks everyone! What great feedback. :D

I was at this same hotel about a month ago and got a 'falls view' room, only to find out that the part of the falls we saw was the very edge of the Canadian falls, and you had to crane your neck around the window to see it. Let's just say that this time the view was much better! (we got an upgrade)

They also did fireworks, so I got a few fun shots of those.

Niagara Falls is a great tourist place, lots to see and do there, and a whole heap of photos waiting to be taken!
