Based on a couple of comments in my earlier thread, I re-processed this shot and would like some more feedback. I want to print this one for my living room project so I could use some help creating the best version. My husband is from Decatur AL and he really likes this shot so I want to do the best PP I can.

Earlier comments were that the colors weren't great so I should try it in B&W and that I should try cropping much of the water. So, here are 3 versions I came up with. Please let me know what you think of these, or if you have suggestions for improvements/different versions. All were processed in ACR and PS. I may have to opt for Silver Efex if I want to do serious B&W conversions.

Thanks!!
Lauren

#1 - First version, redone to enhance the colors. Colors still don't "pop" -- can you help?

#2 - B&W conversion. I tried several methods and settled on this high pass filter since I could never get dark enough blacks or enough contrast to my liking. Also dodged the background trees to lighten. This one does show off the clouds.

#3 - B&W conversion, just Auto Contrast in PS, with cropped foreground.

Great shot. #1 with #3's crop, but just a little more water.

Thanks, jpc. I thought about that also, so I will give it a try.

Very familiar with this bridge and location. Nice shot and like the B & W conversions. When I saw the color picture yesteday I thought it would make a good conversion. Thanks for sharing.
