Are you suggesting you're biased after the Cadillac picture? :
Maybe I should have entered the Caddy for some other movie. I could have made it pink!
Orphans of the Storm is an old movie, real old, 1921. Here's a link to the IMDB info.
Thanks for the compliments!
The clouds are great and the relationship to the title is good with the "orphans" at the bottom.
I wonder if it would look better if you could see more of the orphans. I get the impression that the tree branches are like arms reaching up in need...but right now it they seem to be cut off too quickly so you don't get as much of the reaching effect in the shot. Did you take other shots or have a different crop?
Erich
Thanks guys.
I took the shot like that to have the majority of the sky in the shot. Anything further down seemed to take up more of the picture than I wanted.
I thought about "The Perfect Storm" but it sounded too easy. Plus I like the idea of trees being orphans, appearing isolated from everything else.
Thanks again,
Eric

Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but it's still fun to watch them tumble down the stairs.:rofl
They look dark and ominous, just like the title.
Good shot,
Chris
A picture is but words to the eyes.
Comments are always welcome.
