Selling because I'm upgrading. Camera body is in perfect "like new" condition and has had a Giotto LCD protector on the back since new.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've been backpacking down in the Grand Canyon and just got home tonight.

Yes, still have the camera and I'm in SLO so you're welcome to come up and take a look/give it a test shoot.

No problem, lucky you to be backpacking in God's country. I actually found a 40D but I do appreciate your reply. How did you like the camera? I wasn't prepared to spend for top of the line 5D or such yet.

Yes, it was an amazing trip. We go every year at this time and backpack down "in" for a few days.......but we don't lug a real camera.

Loved the 40D. I'm only selling it because I upgraded to a 50D, which is as much as I'm willing to spend up to...too.
