I want to know what all you people think about this one. I am using a new way of cropping my images, it's new for me.:rofl

I like the crop very much. One of our Artists in Residence, Shay Stephens, did a post about the 10:4 crop a way back.

Since the pics wasn't a wildlife capture I moved it to the Other Cool Shots Forum.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I love 10:4 crops and use them often.

While this is a good exposure - really sharp and colorful, with yummy bokeh, I find the focus subject not very interesting and as for usage possibilities I think limited. A bit more flower petal instead of stamen would've been better. thumb.gif

    In-focus?

Even if the petal is not in-focus?

I love the 10:4 crops, but your original is fabulous w/o that crop, IMHO. The 10:4 works great with landscapes and wildlife tho. :) I think this is a beautiful shot the way it is.

Mr. Quite.......I think that GoofBckt is right, the picture is pretty good as is. The crop you used works better on landscapes. Looking forward to seeing more of your work......... azzaro
