Hi Gang, since I blew the timeframe on the last challenge I decided to start a bit earlier this time around
Three variations on my 'Movie Title' idea...
BLACKBOARD JUNGLE.....
#1
#2
#3
Curious what everyone thinks-yes? no? maybe? :rolleyes :dunno
These aren't the finalized idea (can't give it *all* away :rofl ), but it's the direction I'm going.
Any feedback is appreciated :thumb
Take care,
Mongrel

If every keystroke was a shutter press I'd be a pro by now...

Although the head is disembodied, the lack of detail at the bottom of the shot, just not seeing your(?) body is odd.
I'd also loose the flag, it's too distracting, it takes alot away from you (unless of course you are commenting on US high schools only).

Re: Flag...
Blackboard Jungle was a movie made in 1955 about our *troubled* youth and violence in schools. The school in the movie was in NYC. I thought the flag helped add to the context and to clarify that this was a classroom (which in fact it is...). I did try cropping it out, but honestly liked the flag in the shot.
Thanks again for your comments,
Mongrel
a *real* cigarette? Stage prop my friend, just a stage prop
Thanks for your input
I like the flag, I like #1 best (if you can deal with the "disembodied head" a bit better)
nice go

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your input and suggestions.
The object in the foreground is my attempt at suggesting the classroom had been ransacked. I guess it didn't work
I'm still working on whether or not to add the 'person' to the shot or take him out completely
stay tuned......
Thanks again for taking the time to stop by, I appreciate it

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it.
