Hello D-Grinners!

I've recently purchased a used Canon 1Ds Mark II and now desperately need Canon's Digital Photo Professional software to process the hundreds of large, .CR2 RAW files I have stored on my computer. I've searched the net for somewhere to purchase this software but haven't found it yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction. I can be reached at scubacuba@gmail.com.

Can't you just get it from Canon? Have you checked their download library

I can't remember if the software was free, it comes standard with most canon cameras.

Also, canon has developed a tutorial site

    Andy,
Thank you for the lightning fast response! Unfortunately, the sale only included the camera, coupler, cables, charger and two batteries. I did not receive any of the software (see below) listed on Canon's site that evidently must be installed prior to uploading the DPP Updater listed on the link you sent. Any idea where I can go from here?
    Thanks again,
    David

Make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed.
    - Digital Photo Professional
    - EOS Viewer Utility
    - File Viewer Utility
    - RAW Image Task

If the applications above are not installed on a PC running Windows Vista, make sure that you prepare one of the following CD-ROMs.
    - EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk v1 to v19
    - DIGITAL CAMERA Solution Disk v2, v38 and v39.1
    - Digital Photo Professional Disk v1 to v1.6

Try this link for the Canon DPP software (I had found this on another site's threads a few months ago).

    http://www.cdifoto.com/dpp.php

If it works, then you can go to the Canon site for updates.

    needed registry entries
You may need these registry entries to install DPP from the downloaded update EXE. Just create a .REG file from this code:
    REGEDIT4

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\DPP]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\EOS Utility]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\PhotoStitch]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\ZoomBrowser EX]
