So I'm a lucky duck and my better half bought me a Fuji FinepixS5500 today. So first thing I do is run outside looking for something to shoot....And what should I find??

So I follow him around a little trying to get a good front on shot....

Boy was he stubborn. I know they arent fantastic but hey....I have never done bird shots and it was the first time I'd clicked the shutter on my new camera:D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    No doubt there.

Birds are challenging subjects, but very rewarding in the results.

Hi Ya......looks like my resident magpie, funny how they all look exactly the same hu......mines been around for years, but only one will eat out of my hand.
I love the way it comes up to the window on the deck to look inside the house to see if I am there to feed it rolleyes1.gif I feed it dog food, and when it hears me at the door it runs up to the door and follows me down the yard to where I feed it waiting very impatiently mind you while I cut the food into strips like worms........this magpie brings in it's babies when it has them too as well as it's partner.

Congratulations on your new Camera...... Skippy (Australia)
