Getting a nice selection of species in the garden at the moment. Mix of full flash and natural light/fill flash shots.

    Excellent again.

I just prefer the 2nd last over the others, looks spot on for me.

I come in here and poke around once in a while, and I just have to say that whenever I look at your images it makes me realize that there is so little I know about the insect world. Vertebrates, I got it. I used to study human and animal osteology so I have a pretty good sense of how we're put together and can glean information from a small piece of bone. You put an insect in front of me and I don't know where to start. Head, thorax, abdomen, legs, antennae, mouth parts, I'm done. Spiracles too! Seventh grade life science was useful after all! They're just so different from vertebrates, it amazes me every time I look at your shots.

    So thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

Kinkajou - I don't know much about invertebrate structure either but it sure is fascinating to look at :)
