    1st and 3rd shots are too centered (says me who was Queen of Centering)

    That 2nd shot has great perspective, makes you look up thumb.gif

    I actually prefer the 3rd shot primarily due to the subject. I would love to have that on my property maybe as a centerpiece in a woodland garden. I think #2 would benefit from a little distortion correction.

    the third cropped
    I see the stump cropped so it dominates the picture. Too much fern and too much trees at the top. This makes it landscape mode and much more interesting IMO.

    Thank you - thank you for your suggestion. I had it cropped and scratched it for whatever reason. I'm glad that you confirmed what i was thinking! :) I'll definitely play with this idea. I appreciate your advice!!!!!

    Thank you Skippy. I tend to center too much so I appreciate your reminder. I think I will crop the fern since it is centered and make it 'in your face'!
