Great captures! A Sigma 300-800 :wow ! I need to upgrade!
Glad you liked them.
This paticular airshow the planes tend to be farther away than other airshows so i use my big birding lens. Most of the time my sigma 50-500 works best at airshows. So no need to break the bank for a sigmonster, at least not for airshows. Now for wildlife i have yet to need less and always want more reach. Now if i save up B&H has a used 1200 5.6 for $99K for sale. . :ivar
I use a Canon 75-300 EF and you're right it does work fine, especially on my D350 (1.6 crop), but I'd still like to upgrade to a newer body (more MP) and an IS L lens . Even if I win the lottery, I don't think I'd buy a $99K lens .
