the market is heavy...

I have a neighbor that is a photographer... doesn't do it as a profession. Made the statement to me that the market is "heavy". Does that mean there are too many photographers... or ... there is a lot of business to be had? Ever since i've gotten serious about my business I do notice a huge demand for it... but I also have noticed that there are a TON of photographers where I live.

I dunno...maybe a silly question.

In the financial sense, a heavy market usually implies some level of decline (in prices). Often because buyers have a more to choose from.
