Question on Feeds

I have read the SM Wiki Feed Examples and still have a couple of questions:
- I have been using the Recent Photos Feed but find that it often includes too many photos, even those where watermarks were simply added. Is there any way to limit the # of photos in the feed?
- Exactly what is included in the Recent Galleries Feed? New galleries and galleries that have added or edited photos?

adding the following to the feed url will limit the number of photos...
&Paging=0&ImageCount=X where X is the number of photos you want to return.

However, if you are using a feed reader or Feedburner: If you add photos to an existing gallery, the existing gallery will not appear in the feed reader (or an email will not be sent in Feedburner) because you have seen this gallery already. Feed readers and Feedburner track what they have already showed you and only display the delta.
I think this issue is at the heart of the recent question.... Is there a way for the Recent Galleries feed to be coded in a way that causes a gallery to display in a feed reader or Feedburner whenever new pictures are added to it.
Thanks,
Tom K.
