A Hike In The Woods

I wanted to experience the peace & quiet of the forest early Sunday morning.
Here is some of the scenery I enjoyed...

Some Rosebay Rhododenrons and some large Hemlocks and Tulip Trees;


Ferns and an Umbrella Magnolia sapling;


and a small stream in the forest, early morning;

Residing in Alexandria, you may have been to the area I took these. They are near Parched Corn Creek in the Red River Gorge.
