    Let me be the first to say WoW. I really like the drama going on here. The colors are fantastic! Did you use a wide angle lens? Can you say where this was? sunrise or sunset?

    Beautiful light, textures, and composition, Walter. I love the clouds and the patterns in the earth. thumb.gif
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Thank you. I used a sigma 10-20. I use it exclusively on my d300. It helps keep down those nasty sensor cleanings. This was at sunset, a very good one. One of those where I just drift about.

    Location, Mojave Desert. More specifically, where I'm working out my salvation--I hope.

    Thank you Dan;

    Walking the Wheel;

    As the tilted plateau turns as it can
    God will stand his little man
    with unknowing steps he becomes enslaved
    by deliberate steps he is saved
    through careless steps he may be lost
    in the end, will he have met the cost?

    Very lovely compositon Walter. I like how you have made use of the lines in the rock to lead the eye to that beautiful sky.
