Another from the mudhole outside work this morning. I know it's a little overexposed - I'll try and remember to throw in a little negative compensation next time.

Good capture of the green heron. They are hard to catch because they are so shy. Next time you'll know about the ev adjsutment.

Nice boid Phil! That water sure looks...interesting.

Thanks AJ - the water is pretty much runny mud. It's in a drainage area outside the building I work in. The critters don't seem to mind though. There's enough of 'em hanging out around it.
I do not like that mud hole. I do like the bird. Yeah, and if you expose it right, well, mine are not in focus, if they are moving, it is heartbreaking.
Your bird is in great focus. Mine were getting there.
I have been working them up all AM, will post later, have a baptism at church this AM.
ginger (one bif is in true focus, out of a gazillion opportunities, good opportunities, and it is ...........well, I am going to post: later)
I like your great blue, they are hard to get.
and if you get one, many, and they are not in focus................mumble, mumble, mumble......
Hehehe, I really like this picture. The mud isn't appealing, but somehow the bird compensates for it. The same shot with less orange mud and more green I think would be stellar!
