This moth is I think an "Old Lady".
Possibly injured, my daughter spotted it fluttering on the flagstones in the garden, and I put it onto a plant (seemed the natural thing to do).
Anyway, 2 hours later and it was still there so I took a snip off the apple tree and and nudged it onto the wood, placed it in a tripod QRP grip on an old tripod and then set up camera, tripod mounted with the ringflash, so all this done indoors.
Moths, once settled, don't move much apart from vibrating wings, so had a bit of time. (I don't do stacking, so this is a sraight shot).
C&C as always.
