Maui HDR's

These three HDR's were all taken on the South side of Maui using three exposure each of +2, 0 -2.
#1 As we were leaving the condo heading for dinner I turned and spoted these beautiful rays (all natural) so I set up the tripod right at our front door and took some shots.
#2 This shot was again taken at dinner, we were at a restaurant with friends and I could not resist the sunset that was developing so I excused myself (made the wife mad) and set up my tripod on a garbage container and fired off some shots.
#3 This was taken at the summit of Haleakla about 10,000 feet. It's a 3am start by car to drive up the volcano and get there by sunrise. It was about 46 degrees and windy, beleive it or not. I was hoping there would be no clouds as the crater itself is beautitul but Mother Nature had other ideas. I set up next to a sliversword plant which grow only on Haleaka.

The most important thing is that they don't look like a lot of HDR I see (i.e. you've kept a very high degree of realism in the final output). As others have said, #3 is outstanding.
Thanks Internaut. Like anything It does take some time to learn the process, I still have a long ways to go but the most important thing is if done correctly it can provide photographers with a means to capture more of the details they actually saw with their own eyes.
Thanks Wfeller
