Help with "Resampling" error?

In error I re-sized a photo to increase the dimensions and neglected to uncheck "Resample". So now the photo is somewhat degraded at full view - I guess because extra pixels are added with Resampling ?
Can I undo this, by "Resampling" back down to its original dimensions, thus losing the extra pixels?

If not, how could you undo this error.
Thanks

In PhotoShop, I would "undo" (Ctrl+Z) or "step backward" (Alt+Ctrl+Z), or simply go back to a previous version of the file I was working on.

No backup or copy? eek7.gif Well, that's precisely why you should have one!

When you open a file, always hit cntrl-J and work on the copy.
