You may remember in my last post I shared the view from my "office" I thought it would be nice to show off a little of my "back yard" since living in an apartment in Bar Harbor means I don't really have a yard... I guess Acadia National Park will have to do as a substitute. We all have to make sacrafices:D . C&c are always welcome and apreciated. Thanks for looking.
#1, lowwer Hadlock Pond aproaching Hadlock Brook Falls
#2 at the base of Hadlock Brook Falls
#3
#4 the Hdalock Brook Falls has many sub-falls this one is about half way up
#5 when I turned around after taking the last one, this was the view over the pond
#6 at the top of the fall the trail crosses the brook
#7 Otter Point
#8 Otter Point w/ Great Head in the distance
#9 I'm not sure which one I like better:dunno this one of #10, they are both from the Ship Harbor Trail, and both from close to the same location Please voice an opinion
#10
#11 a couple of cool things about this shot: one you can see the way the fog offshore gets pink as the sun sets, this is my best capture of this, second the turbulace in the water in the middle of the channel in not from wind, there was not much that day and the channel was protected from it, is is caused by the tide ebbing through that constricted passage causing waves.
