got some lights and umbrellas yesterday, tried them out last night. One thing I cannot get down is posing, it is hard! Anyway, I know that I chopped a lot of limbs and things awkward places, i need to work on that. But how is the lighting, wb, sharpness, exposure, etc..?

thanks!!

Lighting is great for a first try! Keep playing with the lights. Move them closer in / further away from your subject. Try raising them higher and then lowering them. It's time to play and learn.

It looks like you are off to a good start. The sharpness looks pretty good to me, except that the black and whites seem a bit soft. I usually like to drape chairs with the same color as the background unless they add something to the shot.
