Facebook interface down?

I'm trying to use the Facebook interface (which I love, by the way). Today when I hit the Facebook button (share > be social > facebook > connect) It opens a small window (as usual) but displays the main smugmug page instead of going to Facebook.

Thanks for any help you an provide.

Log out of FB, clear your SmugMug cookies, close, reopen and try again?

Tried all that plus cleared the cache (using Firefox).

No luck.

Tried IE 8 :wow and it worked like a charm. Must be something in FF....

Seems like a stuck cookie, or, an addon blocking?

This seems to have resolved in FF with the most recent update.

I do have one more question related to FB/Smuggy, however. I notice that when I use the "get social" feature it lists my original name (hoyboy.smugmug.com) instead of my custom name (capturedimaginings.com).

Bug? Or do I have something goofed?

Facebook only works w/ nickname.smugmug right now.

I have the same problem. Have tried with both Firefox and Comino, hhave tried clearing cookies and refreshing cache but no luck.... please help.

Is there any update on this? It was also discussed in this thread with some additional details. I gave it a try in IE8, with the same results. It looks like it was working for me until the "NiceNames" feature was enabled - since then, I can't get a URL with my standard SM URL (moose135.smugmug.com) it defaults to my custom URL (moose135photography.com) and the FB interface stopped working.

we've got a fix, it's awaiting release.

Solved? ...awaiting release? I'll have to remember that one when my renewal is up.This has been an ongoing problem. I've tried the "be social" interface many times. It has only worked twice. Everytime it is the same problem, but referred to as a new glitch that is solved with a patch coming soon.Don't bother responding. This will be my last post.

It worked for my domain last time I tried it, that was a few days ago. I guess they fixed it some time back but didn't announce it.

Ok so heres my issue, I'm trying to share my gallery on FB using my smugmug nick name. (jumb5150.smugmug.com) but as soon as I click on any one of my galleries, the address bar comes up with my custom URL. http://www.duclayanprofoto.com/Street-Photography/Samich-Run-2008/6899375_tXGv8#441395024_Pm9Kh I emailed smug support on this and they say its a piece of code on my top java script. I looked through my top java script and can't seem to find it. Pls help. Thanx

Just curious about this thread. I post to my fan page on FB as well as my personal FB page. Just used the app about 25 minutes ago and had no issues with it using anything but my custom domain. I use Google Chrome if that makes a difference.
