Kayla is my niece, so we broke her session up into a couple of days. On the first day, my other niece and their two friends were with us. I think that made Kayla a little more uncomfortable because on the next day when it was just the two of us...she seemed more relaxed.

The area in this next image has a lot of potential provided that you bring a couple of people to hold some flashes. I can see some really cool images being taken her. I only had my one flash on my hotshoe and there was so many trees that light didn't filter through very well.

I thought this was kind of neat. It was my first day with my new lens so I tried some different things

I think I need to redo the positioning on this one
Thanks for looking

I bet she's thrilled with the results. Good work.

Wow, you have some great images and it looks like you had some great variety in locations to shoot. 1, 3 ,6 and 10 are my favorites...
7 and 12 are not a good poses at all for her--makes her look squat. 8 seems either soft or underexposed--my eyes just cant grasp it right....9 her skin looks flushed and her feet are awkward.
13 is really neat and I think she should use it more than the shots in 14...14 the shots seem staged and don't reflect the power of the sport...if you redo this tennis shot I would just have her slam away at the balls and see if you can luck into a stronger shot-the flip flops give it away as well. 13 I really like though and think you could try a lot of different processings on it. I'm wondering what it would look like compositionally to crop just a bit more from the right and a small amount from top...???
