Can I list just a few sizes for sale in a gallery?

Simple question, I hope. I have a couple of photos in a gallery, and I want to list just a few sizes for sale. I want it nice and clean with just those sizes listed. Is that possible?

Just setting those prices in a gallery doesn't work, because you end up with zero-profit line items for everything else. I tried setting all of my portfolio gallery line items to zero, but that doesn't work either.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Setting a price of an item to zero make it so that item is not listed for sale. For example, if you set the 5x7 price to zero, it will not be offered for sale. Leaving it blank is not the same as a price of zero. Portfolio prices will apply only if you haven't set a price at the gallery or image level.

So, if in your portfolio pricing, you set all prices to zero except three sizes and then clear all gallery or image level pricing, your buyers will only have three options to buy.

    Hi Joel,

Oops, we're sorry you're having trouble setting prices. It sounds like you're doing everything correct though. Could you check a couple things for me though?

When you're checking the pricing are you checking it while logged out or in visitor view? As the gallery owner you'll still see the default prices and all items. To see the shopping cart as your customer's see it you can either log out, use a second browser, or use visitor view.

If you're stilling seeing the prices could you make sure that the portfolio pricing you're setting is for the same lab that you have set for the gallery pricing?

If you're still not seeing the right prices could you please send us a link and we'll take a look?

    Oops, that's not entirely correct.

If you have portfolio prices set to all $0.00 and you set prices for a couple items at the gallery level the spaces left blank will revert back to the portfolio pricing ($0.00).

But, your post makes me think that I may have partially misunderstood kdog's post. Kdog, our pricing works on three levels: portfolio, gallery, and image. The more specific pricing overrides the more generic pricing. So, gallery pricing overrides portfolio pricing. And, image pricing overrides both gallery and portfolio pricing.

Any item set to $0.00 will make it invisible to your customers. If you set all items to $0.00 in portfolio pricing no items will be available for sale unless you price them in gallery or image pricing. We have portfolio pricing to make it easy to set prices but also to help avoid accidental at cost sales.

I don't think we're saying something different here. A blank price is a price that is NOT set, so the next level up (e.g. portfolio pricing) can apply.

Actually, you don't need to do the bolded part. As Christina mentioned, the more specific pricing in the gallery overrides the settings in your portfolio. So you can go ahead and set them all to zero and it still works.
