Is this more of a chore to some people?? More so when you get close and get to those nearly identical images and you need to delete one or two of them..

It takes me 1/2hr to an hour or so to prune thru a good set of pics..

I love seeing the outcome of the pics, and I love the ones I was PRAYING that came out good, and did..

What program are you using to do your sorting and culling? It was a much more painful and time consuming process for me before I began using Lightroom. It has tools that have greatly helped me with this!

Consider being more deliberate about when you click the shutter and you'll have less to sort through later on.

    200? That's light work...

When I shoot a dance recital or other multiple performance event I usually walk away with 2000 - 3000 shots.

As Elaine said, much of the pain will be related to how you're doing the initial sort.

Personally I use Bibble Pro (can't stand LR), its very quick and has a decent rating system so I can differentiate between the really good shots, the maybe good and the true dogs.

Ahh! :D I was just using the preview window.. This is a hobby for me, so shooting 300 pics is a long shoot for me.

THanx! thumb.gif I'll have to download that.

    While you'll get the 30-day trial, it's also a $200 program, FYI.
