A few shots from a dinner party in Pacific Heights SF
Some friends were house sitting a VERY nice house! woo! When I walked into the house I saw the kitchen was wall to wall windows and painted white inside. It was the usual foggy day in SF and so the whole room was like giant light box. AWESOME light.
Here's a few:
1. the dog
2. she wanted mac and cheese for dinner *cry*
3. so daddy made it
4. and all was good
5. this kid could only eat gluten free pasta
6. his dad
7. this one is mine..hamming it up. spilled milk on his shorts so running around in buzz light year undies all night
8. more hamming
9. the 48 million dollar home next door
10. best friends! (they only met the day before)
11. just gorgeous light
What was interesting to me was about 5 min after walking into that house I realized how nice the light was for taking photos. 6 months ago it never would have registered.

As for the light - yup, me too. That's always the first thing I see when I arrive at some place new .... "How's the light and can I make photos here and, if so, what's the best way to get it done?"
It's amazing how our focus (yup ... pun intended ) changes with the development of our interests.

Wonderful capture of a moment most people wouldn't even notice, and most of those who did wouldn't think to shoot.
