    I'll take these left-overs any day. Do the coot chicks have red beaks? I would have thought they were moorhen chicks. Eh, what do I know? :D

    Love them all Ric. As for the Coot - well at least they are cute:D . You have got a good shot of the Egret. These birds are the devil to get the exposure right.

    If you look closely you can see the beaks starting to turn to ivory. Besides....they were following their Coot Mama!!!:D
