I just can't find what I'm looking for

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I just can't find it, and I can't figure out the correct search words.

I would like to know if there is a way a customer can look through a gallery, and pick out the photos they want to keep/print and have that info sent back to me? Is there a way to have a "view" of what has been picked and what is not?

I'm sure there is a way to do it, but I have never dealt with the photo rank or popular photos. I don't have the buy option enabled on my site, because I use self-fulfillment, but would like to have the ability to see the pics that are keepers.

Thanks,
John Reed

This is often requested, but Smugmug does not have a feature like this. You can't really use the thumbs-up/thumbs-down because Smugmug doesn't give you direct access to that data. They just use it to populate the popular photos gallery, but there's now way to sort out what your customer did from what anyone else did.

The only work-around I've seen discussed is to turn on filenames and have your customer write down the filenames and email them to you.

Thank you, was afraid of that. Figured it would be difficult, but was hoping someone had made a hack for it.

Oh, no, do they even sell pens and paper anymore?
