Here is a black chinned humming bird that was on Little Baldy near Quannah Parker Lake in the refuge. Gosh he put on a display, he buzzed us several times.

    Ohhhhhhh look at the pretty purple on his neck, wow, those little hummers are so pretty........I've never seen one, only pictures of these beautiful little birds.

    I have a feeder which hangs near my front porch, so I see these guys all the time, but it was a real thrill to see one out in the wild. I guess there was a female around because he put on a spectacular loop de loop figure 8 flying display, it was most awesome!!!
