"That's a Wrap!"

Found this guy hanging around on the porch last night.







Both shots were taken with the Canon MP-E lens and the 5D2.
The top shot was multiple exposures, lovingly stacked and layered manually in CS4. The bottom one was just a straight shot.
The flash was a 430EX Speedlight on-camera with a Lumiquest Softbox. A porch light near the spider helped with illumination for focusing in the dark.
The siding on my house provided the backdrop.

Super cool shots. The 2nd one is has stunning detail, although I wish the spider was facing you. I know that you have to take what you get.
