    But there's no mirror. (except way behind in back wall)

    that oval is the window "dressing" - looked like it was paint or a decal on the glass - the way it looks from the street, with the mannequin close to the window facing out and the manager/salesman slightly behind in the store, (his back to the window).

    Ohhhh, duh, I guess I should have paid more attention to your title! I see now that you can see the through the dressing a bit as well. Thanks for the clarification!
