Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

When I was there I didn't even think about taking my camera out.

Probably too busy looking at those cards they handed you on the streets...
Great shot Mahesh! I was going to shoot Vegas at night when I was there earlier this year for a wedding but I didn't have any free time except for one day and I went to Death Valley instead.

Thank,s Eia! Just before the water show came on, I took a few bracketed exposures to get the the reflection just the way I wanted it. Then I took a few more when the water show started. I blended all the exposures until I was able to achieve the effect I wanted...voila!

Thanks, Danny! See my comment to Eia about my exposure "trick"
Vegas is a great place to photography...you just have to be in the right attitude.

Oh man...that's funny.
Thanks, bud!
I'd have picked Death Valley over Vegas too!

Thanks, Gary! Ya, the reflections really did it for me too on this shot.

Thanks, Lauren! I grew up in Vegas, so the tables have no particular draw for me. I'd rather see the lights outside the casinos than inside them

Thanks, Schmoo! Yes, the heat is totally brutal. But, I have to say it (as everyone from that area does)...it's a dry heat!
