Less is more ?

The sun was glittering trough the clouds. The water was calm. The 3 boats where sailing in formation.
The sky is colored in Lightroom to make some variation.
A good shot ?

    I think you have a nice picture there, the boats are bit small to really grab me, but the image is nice. I think some light haze did you in here as the boats are not really crisp. There were two things that caught my eye though. First, there is tiny ship/bouy at the far left. Since the last boat is very tiny, this one gets noticed. Your coloring got out of hand near the far right. There is a very solid blue splotch.

    I really like the simplicity of this photo. I'd keep it if it were mine. Maybe make the sky alittle darker to emphasis the sun's rays which would maybe pick up the colors in the clouds/sky. As for the bouy or tiny ship -- thats easy -- just crop it out.

    15524779-Ti.gif Nice points. Perhaps cropping and use of some other means will make the image have more impact than it has as stands. :D
