Why does my new watermark look so terrible?

Ok, so I just uploaded some images to use as watermarks. Everything went fine, and they looked AOK on the preview screen:
But when I actually applied them to a sample gallery, they looked pretty pixelated and terrible:
Any thoughts? What did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance for the help....

Sure. The link to the watermark is here:

I don't see why it would look strange on my site, but not on the "watermark setup" screen.
Still hoping for an answer, or suggestion...
Thanks...

No matter what I do, I can't seem to fix this. I've tried a million different watermarks of different sizes with different resolutions... and they all look fine when I'm "creating a watermark" but they look pretty poor when I actually apply them to an image.
Anyone have any thoughts? Hoping for some brilliance..
Thanks...
PS - This is the latest watermark that I'm using: http://mattdudleyphotography.smugmug.com/photos/632165576_zMkU7-X3.png
