Weekly Assignments: 3 years and counting

Please join me in celebrating the 3d anniversary of Weekly Assignments!
Started Aug 6-th 2006, it is now the longest ongoing initiative of the dgrin (except the dgrin itself). Over the years, this Class has seen many outstanding photographers taking their first steps or honing their skills.
With its relaxed, non-competing and generally low-pressure attitude the Class offers excellent opportunity to grow up as a photographer for anybody who dares to pick up a camera, go shoot and finally post the results. No-archives rule makes the playing field even for everybody, n00b and guru alike!
I would also like to thank you everybody who participated in the Class at one point or another, as well as the Mods Corp who always helped me to keep things in order.
See you in the next installment! :thumb

Wow, three years. It seems like only yesterday you began this endeavor. Have we really been around this joint this long???
Congratulations buddy - you've done a great job with this; enhancing members' experience here; enriching our environment with creative growth and giving everyone a chance and reason to keep improving their skills. Bravo!

...and Nik I am sure I am not the only one who is thankful for your dedication not only to "assignments", but also to other areas of Dgrin. You have certainly prodded, pushed, and pulled many of us from mediocrity.
Congratulations!!!
...and Thank You.

Nik,
It's nice to see someone lending a hand to the new members here in constructive fashion. I remember talking to you about it when we did Shay's workshop - can't believe it's been that long.
Thanks for enriching the world of photography here on Dgrin.
