Incredible reflection and mood! Love the color of the clouds. My only complaint is the hotness of the reflection at around the 8 or so position. Great job!

Another beautiful shot! I love looking at all your photos that you post.

So as I am scrolling down the thread, I cut off the top fifth or so on the picture so that all the clouds in the sky are cropped off. The photo now changes completely so that the eyes are drawn to the reflection and then further downward to the reflected clouds. It becomes a different photo, but equally compelling to me by cropping out the top 20% or so.

Thanks, James! I agree with you. I'll have to go back to the RAW and and massage it a little more. :D

Thanks for the suggestion, Rainbow! I tried your suggestion and I agree...works well! thumb.gif Now I have another version of this shot in my portfolio! :):

Thanks, Tisun! Glad you enjoyed it. This little tarn was great for reflections...the only problem was that wind wasn't too cooperative and the surface moved a little. :D

Thanks, Doug! I was so happy to see those clouds rolling in as the sun was setting...really gave the image some much needed color. :D

This is great - I need to get on that Park Butte trail, even though by now there's no snow, but that reflection is probably still there!
