    I hope to see these birds when I go down in Oct. Just love these birds, and hoping that I will see them.

    Pelican are very cool. You would be amazed at how strong they are. A couple of years back a wildlife agent found a pelican with a fishing hook stuck to its gullett. She asked me and thie other photog to hold her while she removed the hook. It took two of us to hold that sucker still and ut wasn't easy.

    Pelicans are very smart too! Once while I was at Haulover Pier, I had a blast watching them sneak up behind the fishermen that were keeping their fish in 5 gallon buckets, and stealing their fish! It was so comical! rolleyes1.gif
