Very nice, the only nit I have is that the mountains are competing with the boats for my eye.

OMG, I've got to go get a hot coffee after seeing this. Lovely image, might be a candidate for a B/W??

Thanks, Schmoo. I was driving home one day and saw this scene...not spectacular, but caught my attention nonetheless. I just had to stop and shoot its. :D

Thanks, Doug! I've tried this in b&w...just doesn't have the same impact as the color version. I think if there was some light on the mts or on the FG, that may have helped with contrast and may have made the difference when converting to b&w.

I love those seemingly rare days in the winter where the clouds are high enough that you can actually see the fresh snow on the mountains.

Beautiful image, great example of compressed landscape

Thanks for the comment, Danny! I totally agree...some winterdays are amazing in Seattle...they tend to be very clear if the clouds are high enough. :D

Thanks, Awais! Wide angle scenes are my favorite, but every so often, I find a scene just itching to be shot in the compressed format. I thought this was one of them. :D

Thanks, Mary! I know what you mean. Can you believe I live 2 minutes from here and I haven't ridden one of these yet? I'll have to correct that soon. :D

Sometimes we don't take advantage of the things we can do close to home, but venture out further. I know how it is. When you do get out in one of those take many photos. We would love to see them :D
