Collection/Virtual Set feature?

I've switched from flickr to smugmug this year.

One thing that I miss a lot that Flickr has is the Collection feature. It enables you to add your photo to multiple collection or set without uploading duplicate photos.

It seems to me that in smugmug, a photo can only belong to one gallery. If you want it to belong to two galleries, you have to upload another copy. This sounds so out of date. Am I missing something here?

For example:

I have Galleries called "Antelope", "Horseshoe" "Crater Lake", and I want to select a few best of best from each gallery and put them together and call it "Favorite Landscapes", there is no way to do it except re-uploading those photos again, right?

It's on the short list. We hope to have it one day soon. We're planning on it.

You can use keywords for this, and (if you're a Power User or Pro), can create a gallery redirect from the category to the keyword gallery.

This can work for some purposes, but you can't control the sort order of the keyword gallery, can't use images from password protected galleries or from unlisted galleries and you must expose your galleries to Smug indexing for keywords to work.
