I guess I've been having a little too much fun with what little free time I have and was wondering if you folks could pleas give me a little C&C on these. Thanks.

Had a chance to shoot some pics today and came up with this one:

#1 - The Village Blacksmith

Found another one of my friend Fran from last weekend that I liked (she liked it too):

#2 -- The Re-enactor

    Hi Linda,
I really like #2...that would be my vote.
#1, for me, is too busy...my eyes are easily pulled away from the subject
Good luck, your photos are always so good!

I would say 2 is the better portrait. I wanted to get up to a local history place for shooting the Blacksmith shop but time did not permit.

Oh man I understand your waffling.

#2 is a better portrait with less environment than #3, plus there is something about both of them that I am having a hard time myself deciding which is better for the challenge. I'm leaning towards #2 because I like the light in it so much

#2 is very, very nice - and now, considering that printed paper which I haven't seen before (ne_nau.gif ),
I think that this is the only one thumb.gif

    - In addition, even though #3 is a wonderful picture, on #2 you can see here eyes, which I think is a plus
    for a portrait :)

Thanks for commenting and looking, folks.

OK, so the Blacksmith shot doesn't work as well for this challenge.

I was at a Civil War event yesterday, which is where the Blacksmith shot was taken. I have some wonderful shots of the soldiers but nothing that I'd call environmental, unless having a tent wall as a backdrop counts. rolleyes1.gif

Oh well, I still have some time left to make a decision...:D. I do like the light plus the noble look my friend is wearing in #2, but I like the action in #3. headscratch.gifscratchheadscratch.gifscratchheadscratch.gif
