I was messing around with my 50mm f/1.8 and decided to get my Dad's attention and snap a pic. As you can tell, he wasn't too enthusiastic. I resized it and used a couple of onOne filters for the final look. Any C & C is welcomed, thanks...

Nice shot and the conversion looks good. Personally, I'd crop a bit more from the right side as he still looks to be crowded into the left. It looks like maybe you've placed his right eye 1/3 of the width from the left? If so, try cropping enough to move the bridge of his nose to that spot. Or, rather than making your image smaller, do the same from the original. I think you've got a good shot once you've got him where you want him in the frame.
